The painful ego death of realising big dreams don’t mean shit without small wins.
So well articulated, this has been my mindset for years, right from my JEE days through college. It always led to a lose-lose situation.
If something good happened, I’d think, “This should’ve happened long ago, and on a much bigger scale.”
And if things didn’t work out, the thought was, “If I can’t even get this right, how will I ever reach my ultimate goal?”
Now, I’m consciously working to unlearn this thought process.
thanks mate! read the latest one, there is something for you.
i could see myself thru this blog. Too much brainwashed to think only big wins matter and dismiss whatever accomplishments we make as we grow.
over the last few weeks i have been rethinking my mindset and how i see people.
earlier i would hurry to come to a conclusion when someone says theyre doing this or that, “this aint worth it”
yeah dude
unlearning this now
